Coach Attila joined OHS in 2018 where he currently serves as the Head Boys Basketball Coach, as well Business Teacher and FBLA Advisor
 
Coach Attila is a former Greater Oregon League player. He grew up in and played for La Grande High School. In 2010, Attila was named the Oregon 4A Player of the year for high school basketball. He went on to play two seasons for College of Southern Idaho, where he led the squad in three-point field goal percentage (43.0) in 2012 en route to carding a regional championship and national tournament appearance. He transferred to Hawaii Pacific University in 2012 and played one season before finishing his collegiate career at EOU in  2013-2014. During the 2013-14 campaign, he started 27 games and led the squad in both assists (108) and three-point field goal percentage (41.0)
After collecting an associate’s degree from College of Southern Idaho in 2012, Attila received his bachelor’s degree from EOU in 2014 and Masters of Business Administration from EOU in 2017.
 
From 2014-16, Attila was an assistant coach for Eastern Oregon University Men's Basketball. His primary duties included scouting opponents, coordinating program operations (travel, film, fundraising, summer camp coordinator), planning community service activities, academic advising, organizing practices and overseeing the development of the guards and wings, as well as programs strength and conditioning coach.
